This is the latest Covid-19 update from the club. Over the last couple of weeks, Coalpit Heath Football Club have been reviewing the recent FA guidelines regarding the resumption of football training. The club have been keen to support this and have now produced guidelines to enable the resumption of football training within the club. The guidance can be found on this website, www.coalpitheathfc.co.uk/covid-19/, this page will continue to be updated as the situation develops and updated guidance from the FA is provided.
We are currently in the off season, so traditionally most teams would not be training during this time. However, we have given all age groups the option of recommencing training sessions if the coaches personal circumstances allow, parents provide consent and the guidelines are adhered to.
If your child’s age group will be recommencing training, you will receive an email from the coach which will include a consent form and a copy of the risk assessment that the club have completed. The email will also contain details of how the training sessions will run. It’s important that parents support coaches during this period as there will be more work involved and more responsibility on all coaches to ensure everyone is kept safe.
The latest Covid-19 guidance from the FA proposes that groups of up to 6 people, including a coach, can undertake basic football training.
Coalpit Heath Football Club are currently digesting this information and reviewing how training may or may not be delivered withing the current guidelines, there are many things that need to be considered before we can give the go ahead to recommence training.
The latest FA Covid-19 guidance can be found here.
The club will provide a further update in due course.
As per the latest update from the FA, all training and matches, for all ages groups, have been cancelled with immediate effect for the foreseeble future.
The Orange Cafe has now gone contactless, so you can pay for your bacon sarnies by card.
